My name is Jeremy Waldron. As you know I was the one driving that fateful night.

It is my fault that my Friend Mike and the other young man in the other vehicle are no longer with us, all as a result of my getting behind the wheel of my car after drinking.

It is an act that I have wished to take back a million times, but as we all know, Its not possible. Since I have been incarcerated, I have a lot of time to correct my irresponsible ways.

I took a class called the 12 steps, for those that dont know what the 12 step class is, It is a part of the A.A program. I learned that alcoholism is a disease. I know that I can no longer have even 1 drink.

When I come home I hope to be able to speak to speak to High School Students about the dangers of Drinking and Driving.

How a night of fun can turn into a life altering situation in a fraction of a second.

In closing PLEASE DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DRINK, PLEASE HAVE A DESIGNATED DRIVER. PLEASE LEARN FROM THE MISTAKE I MADE.

You will not only hurt yourself but may other people you didn't even think that you would hurt, including people you dont even know. It is a circle of hurt, NO ONE COMES OUT ON TOP WHEN YOU CHOOSE TO DRINK AND DRIVE.
