Thank you for wanting to read my letter to the world. This letter is important if you are choosing to drink in your life, I would like as many people as possible to read this. Send this to your friends, your children, your parents, everyone you love and would want to keep safe.

I'd like to warn everyone about making mistakes. Sure everyone makes mistakes, but most mistakes usually don't cost you your life. (Most of us have time to correct our mistakes, when we realize we have made them) My mistake did.

I'd heard it a thousand times, "Don't Drink and Drive", at 20 years old, no one thinks of death.

Well, death is a reality. It can happen to anyone. Do you think I chose to leave my family, friends and daughter behind? Do you think I had this all planned? NO!! This wasn't in my plans!!

This was an accident, but it was a preventable accident. Yes, some accidents are prevantable and I'd still be on earth if I had listened to everyone who cared about me. I'd still be there planning my life, planning my daughter's life and my future.

So although I didn't "Drink and Drive",I had also been Drinking the night I got in a friend's car who was drinking and driving. I allowed myself to be put in a situtation that I had been warned about many times.

So please, listen to those who love you. They are only concerned for your safety and the safety of others on the road.

DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.

Please pass this letter on to everyone. Make sure that all your loved ones know that it can happen. Yes, even if you're young.

The pain you will put others through is often too much for them to handle.

Your parents will never be the same. They lost a child and that is the worst pain any parent can go through.

Your family members will be so hurt and it will take a long time for them to heal.

Your children will never know you. They will not have you around for every special event in their lives. You won't be there for them when you are needed and you won't be there for them at all.
